Jesus said: "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save
that which was lost". ( Luke 19:10 )

The word "seek" means:
To diligently look for; to search earnestly untill the object of the
search is located.

Think of it, God thinking about YOU, looking for YOU,
caring for YOU, loving YOU so much HE will not give up on YOU!

The word "salvation" means:
deliverance, preservation, soundness, prosperity,
happinness, rescue, general well being.

God has something for you. He desires to have a relationship
with you. He loves and cares for you. He loves you so much
that He gave His only Son, (Jesus) that whoever believes in Him
will not perish but have everlasting life. ( John 3:16 )

What are you waiting for? Allow Him into your life RIGHT NOW!

Jesus tells a story about a son who was tired of living at home and working for his father. So he demanded his share of the inheritance from his father and left home.

He traveled to a far country and spent his inheritance on wasteful things and after spending all he had, he had nothing left...no friends...no family...no home.

He took a job with a livestock farmer who did'nt pay him or feed him. One day being so hungry he was thinking about eating what the animals were eating, he thought to himself...I'll go home and ask my father to forgive me.

So he started back home and when he came near to his home, his father was outside and saw him coming. The father ran to his son and hugged him. Before the son could say anything, the father called his servants and told them to take care of his son.

We as people and we as a nation... took the Blessings of God...and left the ONE who has supplied all of our needs, only to find ourselves in need. Now is the time to return to Our Father and ask Him for forgiveness, and to allow Him to restore our lives , heal us and make us whole again. He's been there all along...just waiting for us to return to Him.

Trust in the LORD, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the LORD,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD,
Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday.
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;
Do not fret...it only causes harm.
For we "know" that our Redeemer Lives,

How often do we go along in our daily lives, busy rushing here and there trying to get things done. Our minds are filled with tasks, worries and possibly fears.

THIS IS LIFE, THIS IS HOW WE DO IT!!

It seems we have become persistant in these things rather well. Is there something down deep inside that is crying out for peace?

GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE:

(Phil. 4:6-7) " Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your HEART and MINDS through Christ Jesus."

Can we begin to turn our energy and our attention toward the ONE who really cares for us? Can we commit our persistance to something of REAL value? Not only for this life but also for the life to come. God is ready, if we are.

As we go with HIM,

I believe God is calling His people to action. The bible says, faith without works is dead. What is needed is to give a voice, give our hands and feet to the things we believe, to make a difference in our surroundings. Weather we know it or not, our lives are affecting or impacting someone. God has you where you are for a reason! His reason. I sometimes wonder if Jesus walked in my shoes for a day, what would be the results? Be open to the Lord in your daily life, begin to look at those around you as He would, and begin to see what would happen if Jesus walked a day in your shoes.

Especially in these times we are going through, our country in recession, job loses, everyday prices going up and an uncertainty of what tomorrow may bring. We could wonder what is there to be thankful about?
Sometimes it's easy to overlook the obvious, things we take for granted, a roof over our heads, a meal, a job, clean clothes and family. Those of us that experience this daily need to realize that there are people (men, women, boys and girls) out there that do not have these blessings.
As we enter into this season it you and me that can make a difference in someone’s life. After all it is God's plan to work through us bringing hope to a world that needs hope. We give because God gave to us and God gave to us because He cares and because He cares, we care!
Be a blessing to those around you, make a difference!
